1. Connecting to 1024's Ivo server

Connecting to 1024's Ivo Server

You will have received an email with an attachment called “Ivo Server.rdp”. Please save this file to your Windows desktop.

This will be the icon you will double-click to connect to the 1024 Ivo server. It will look something like this -

After saving the file to the Windows Desktop, right-click its icon and choose "Show more options" in the first menu, then select "Edit" from the second menu -

This screen will appear -

1. Enter your username: ivo\<username>

The username is -

ivo\<first initial><surname> (or the username that was sent to you)

For example:

ivo\jdoe

ivo\auditor

(Note the slash used is a backslash - "\", which is usually located above the enter/return key.)

2. Click the Save button. If you don't Save your username in the settings then you will be prompted to enter it every time you log in.

3. Click the Cross at the top-right of the window to close.

Now double-click the "Ivo Server" icon on your desktop.

When you double-click the file, the Windows Security log in window will appear and you will be prompted to enter your password, then click "OK".

If your log in fails, try entering the password again... you can check if you've entered your password correctly by clicking on and holding down the small "eye" icon at the end of the password field.
