When logging in to Ivo for the first time, you will see this login window -
Select your name from the "Employee" dropdown box. Please note that the field may be labelled differently for your organisation (eg. "Advocate", "Counsellor" etc)
Skip entering the password and just click the OK button. You will see this window where you can set your password -
Enter your desired password in both the Password and Confirm text boxes. If they match correctly the OK button will be enabled for you to continue. Thus, if you have entered the password twice and the OK button is not enabled, it means the password don't match and you will need to re-enter them.
Click the OK button to proceed and Ivo will then open.
You will also be prompted to enter your work email address. Ivo uses your email address for its "Email to me" functions. For example, when you run a report, Ivo can email you a copy of the report.
Once you have logged in to Ivo for the first time, we recommend you change the "Default Ivo User" setting which will mean that you don't need to select your username every time you open Ivo (essentially, this links your Ivo username with your Windows username).
- Click the Help and Support tab
- Click the My Preferences button in the toolbar
- Click the dropdown button and select your name.
- Note you can also change your password and email address in this screen
