QDAP Report

Implemented Oct-2024 version of QDAP report

DEX Report

Service Types for NDAP and NDIS Appeals

The Service Type for NDAP and NDIS Appeals have been updated to reflect the latest Program Specific Guidance for NDAP and NDIS Appeals programs.

Choosing which file note to report to the DEX

Implemented option to choose which file notes are reported to the DEX.  This allows an advocate to choose whether an individual file note should be reported to the DEX.

We have had one client receive feedback from their FAM that only direct advocacy with the client present should be reported to the DEX, and not activities such as emails, phone calls etc.  However, in speaking with other clients, they have have been specifically advised by their FAM that reporting those activities is fine (at least for now). This yet again highlights the challenges of different clients receiving different advice from the department.

In any case, this new function facilitates this and it can be turned on in the General Settings -

Once switched on, the advocate is presented with the option to "Report to DEX" -

Only if answered 'Yes' do the regular DEX questions have to be filled out.

Note the ? icon to the right of the dropdown. You can specify the "rules" an advocate should use to determine if a file note should be reported to the DEX.  This is done on a per funding / activity type basis -

Notes:

  • Click the ellipsis button at the right-hand end to open a larger editing window. You can enter as much text as needed.
  • This option is only visible if the "Choose Reportable File Notes / Sessions" option is switched on in General Settings, as shown above.
